Guild Wars 2 was the most boring mmo I've ever played. I bought into their hype about how it was better because they had no dedicated roles like tank/dps/healer. It never occurred to me that they just made a game where every class does the same thing.

I wouldn't say its boring, but they definitly lied to players when they said there were no tank/dps/healer.
They just meant they removed the healer from the equation and instead made it burst/dps/condi.

You mean removed healer and tank and made it all dps all the time.
Now with the expansion on the horizon they actually added a healer (druid) and the new taunt condi makes you sort of like a tank.
The current meta or at least when I last played was full Zerker runs through dungeons and fractals. I really like GW2 but as of the last time I played it was straight everyone DPS and kill the boss really quickly.
Boy do I suck at PvP though, I just spam whatever's available immediately and save my knock downs and condi breaks
Can ANet just make WvW tournaments happen again instead? Please?
