I suck at hardware and stuff so if you guys could make a list with good hardware for a 1500$ rig i'd appreciate it very much.

Do you need a new disc drive?

I ask this every time but...is this for gaming?
AMD Phenom II X4 965 3,4 Ghz 4 GB DDR3 Ram 1333 Mhz 22" Screen Samsung SM2233 ATI Radeon HD5770 1GB DDR5 1 TB HDD Mouse + Keyboard = 50 $ :D
Um, 5770/Phenom II X4 955 is around $700-900 range >_>
yes for gaming

My budget is actually exactly 1939,24$. Go nuts.
What size of HDD do you need? 1 TB?
That'd be more than enough. [editline]02:25PM[/editline] but yes
Can you reuse something, and do you already have monitor/mouse/keyboard/speakers? [editline]12:32PM[/editline] Oh I saw you were from Sweden, so your budget would be 15000 SEK?

No good monitor, and no keyboard. And yes, 15000 SEK

500-550 is fine for a 5870. Buying a 650 is not a necessity.
Yeh but it's always nice to have room for improvement. I'm still annoyed with myself when last year i got a 500w PSU instead of spending a bit more and getting a 600w PSU and then when i upgraded my parts i had to get a new PSU.
i wont be upgrading, i am horrible with hardware
Well in the future you might want a new GPU when yours gets outdated.
Anyway, I would get a 470 rather than a 5870 [editline]04:47PM[/editline] And 550W will do, even for upgrades, that's a very high quality PSU.

[QUOTE=NecroTitan;22827375]Not 2 470's.[/QUOTE] Ok ok, if he really needs it, he can go for TX650W.
