:what:
Good luck CCP, because I'm pretty sure after that leaked document, consequences will never be the same
For a game with a monthly subscription that practically forces you to wait vast amounts of time to do anything, things like this seem inexcusably greedy to me.
CCP has mostly always been good to their customers though. The fact they even apologized in the first place is thousands of miles ahead of any major game developer/company.

You can actually pay your subscription if you are rich enough ingame.

Someone still pays your sub, and they get your ISK in return.
And you don't have to wait large amounts of time to do anything, it takes a while to reach a goal, but there's lots to do on the way.
You can't really hold CCP on any spike. They've released about 16 expansions to EvE online, all free of extra charge, and promoted any gameplay within game mechanics as fair making for one of the deepest player driven online universes that's ever been seen. People are just arguing over 'What if's' and Aesthetic items...

The term "unforeseen consequences" doesn't even begin to cover the monumental failure in communications between CCP and the CSM/playerbase.
Also, I laugh at the people who are ragequitting over this, a bunch of conjecture and an opinionated memo. The only serious offense during this entire debacle was CCP's failure to communicate properly and effectively.
