I wonder where the fraudsters sell these keys, hmm.
See G2A, this is why we can't have nice things.
Hackers steal thousands of credit cards, use them to buy copies of the game from our website, redeem the Steam keys, and then sell these keys at half price.
That makes no sense, you can't sell a key that's already been redeemed. Once you redeem a key on steam, it's then tied to that account.
Wonder how long it will take until someone comes in here and defends g2a.
Cant he just do the system humble used to do. They used to force the game onto your account when you activated the steam key link. You could also gift it to a friend. IIRC they only stopped doing it because people wanted an easier way of sharing keys. Thay shouldnt affect this though.

Not really, steam removed oauth that allowed keys to be redeemed from external sites.
They didn't do it becasue they were asked, valve forced them as they removed it's support

Shame that Tynan is getting this shit done to him. I backed and followed Rimworld since it showed up and KS and he has been very dedicated with updates, being active on the forums and generally being a good dev. One of the few KS games that has been delivering all it's promises so far.
