I've always wondered, do you always play as the [sp]employee[/sp] throughout Assassins Creed 4, Rouge, Unity, and Syndicate?

I kinda want to get Syndicate but I don't have enough extra money to shell out 60 for it.

Pretty sure you play the same guy in Unity and Syndicate as far as the real world plot goes.
