Heyo, I recently started using my PC again, I've been updating drivers and whatnot and playing some games. But recently the sound has completely cut off. I tried troubleshooting, updating the drivers (no updates were available) and disabling/enabling them. On the volume mixer it shows no problem, the volume bar shows there is sound being registered but I just can't hear a thing. I've tried multiple speakers, headphones and audio ports but nothing seems to work.
Anyone got any ideas?
Uninstall the sound drivers and reinstall them
I've had this problem myself. See if that fixes it.
I had this happen to me when I used onboard sound, it was the connector on the back of the computer. I needed to unplug the headphone cable, then plug it back in, listening to the headphones as I slid the plug back and forth to try and find the right amount to stick it in to get the best sound. It was almost like having sex with the computer now that I think of it.
The laptop says 8gb memory max on Samsungs spec sheet, but that isn't always true?
