Why did you make two threads? Also £250 is maybe gonna get you an average pc.
1: i had two diffrent questions 2: maybe i could stetch it too £450
250 what? Eggs, horses, camels? What you got already? If you just got 250$, well then good night. Not gonna happen to get a decent computer for that. Maybe from a friend or such, but not a complete new one. Best thing you could do is just go to a local electronics store and ask.
250 what? Eggs, horses, camels? What you got already? If you just got 250$, well then good night. Not gonna happen to get a decent computer for that.
£250 probably. Or maybe he means $250 billion. Who knows.
250 what? Eggs, horses, camels?
¬_¬ have a guess
You have 250 money??? derp :downs: I'm going to assume you have 250 swedish kronor. That's 35 dollars.
££££ people i've edited that. now can we please be adults
Okay. In a PC you need: RAM A GPU A CPU A monitor A keyboard A mouse A DVD/CD drive A case A hard drive A PSU An OS And a motherboard
Like I said, the best thing is to just buy a complete computer somewhere. You won't get it as cheaper when using unique parts to build it up, that only works when you already have the standard things.

Even if you have no part's at al. But if you do not even know what stuff you should fit in your pc you might want to reconsider building it yourself.
Okay. In a PC you need: RAM A graphics card A CPU A monitor A keyboard A mouse A DVD/CD drive A case A hard drive A PSU An OS And a motherboard screws electricity cables
now thats idiot proof almost
Cool. Show me two exact same computers, one that's pre-built and one with unique parts, where the price is the same. Most pre-built computers are combo sales, you save A LOT of money on them. And also, that guy asks what he needs in a computer, I barely think he even knows how to connect all the pins from the case to his mainboard(even though with the manual). I don't know if newer cases "fixed" this problem, I still have a old one with seperate pins and connectors.

Why pay out the ass for labor when you can put the damn thing together yourself. It's not a puzzle, you know it doesn't go there if it doesn't fit. Show me a prebuilt and I'll make a build that can beat it.
This isn't a question of power, as instead of money. He has £250. Show me a decent build for that amount of money, including a case, PSU, motherboard, CPU, keyboard, mouse, monitor, harddrive, dvd burner, RAM, GPU and OS. When you're lucky you can get a nice combination of an CPU, motherboard and RAM for that amount.
I looked around scan.co.uk and it is IMPOSSIBLE to build a decent PC including keyboard, mouse, monitor might be different if it was £350 and/or if you used ebay

You just wasted your money, and you got shit for it.
a monitor and OS will eat up most of the £250... If you can stretch it to £450, you can get a decent computer with a monitor and OS
OP see: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=862085
OP see: http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=862085
that doesn't include OS, monitor, or peripherals and the graphics card is at a significant discount. That build + windows 7 HP OEM ($109) + a monitor (~$100) so that build comes out to $645 USD without peripherals and a few bucks off the graphics card (he doesn't have a friend's friend who will sell him the 4830 at a discount), convert that, it's 300GBP. It's possible if he can go a bit over his original budget
It was more to show the OP what he's talking about here. I knew it didn't include those things. That's why I said "see".
Okay. In a PC you need: RAM A GPU A CPU A monitor A keyboard A mouse A DVD/CD drive A case A hard drive A PSU An OS And a motherboard
You need a monitor, mouse and keyboard INSIDE YOUR PC?
Wouldn't a keyboard still be separate?
Not in my world. I think a few of them have a keyboard on the bottom of the screen.
