I was reading the manual PDF of one of the motherboards manufactured by Gigabyte, but I decided to see what Google's safe browsing diagnostics have to say about the website, just out of curiosity.
To my surprise, the main website and the Asian mirror I was reading the PDF off of are considered malicious.
Gigabyte.com:

Gigabyte.asia

What worries me is that I was reading a PDF off of the website, and PDFs are a main source for spreading malware.
And I was actually planning to download a BIOS update...
By the way, I apologize if I posted the thread in the wrong section or if I broke any rules.
This is my first time starting a thread on Facepunch.

This doesn't seem to be the main website; I think Gigabyte.us is the main website and Google lists it as safe.
Mightve been mislabeled/flagged wrongly. Right now google is not reporting any of those domains as being malicious/dangerous.

I am a bit afraid to download any firmware updates from these sites for the time being, even if it might have been a false positive.
By the way, why is google reporting that some malicious websites send users to these websites? What does that mean?
As for Gigabyte.asia, it says that "Some pages on this website install malware on visitors' computers."
Could this be referring to ads?
On their US site, I am not seeing any ads listed on ABP/uBlock.
This is all uBlock is reporting so far

Really not sure why google is showing that this may install malicious software.
In other cases, I wouldn't mind these small warnings. But when it is something as serious as Firmware, I won't take any chances.
