I was playing Left 4 Dead 2 Hard Rain Return to town level. My screen started flipping out on me. Red dots appeared and my computer locked up. I had to turn it off manually. It has slowly got worse. Here are some screenshots.

I'm not sure if you can see the red dots in the screen shots. They disappear and reappear at different places. I have checked my temperatures on my video card. I turned the fan up all the way to MAKE SURE it isn't over heating. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers. I tried "repairing" windows vista using the disk. While i'm typing this my screen goes black for five or six seconds. After this, a "Display drive nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered." error message pops up. I googled some resolutions, but none of them has worked. My guess is that my card is dead.
EDIT: I am also getting BSOD all the time. I got one right after I posted this. I can't start windows normally and have to start it in Safe mode for windows to work.......

I may be able to see some lines across the screen, but you used a bad image host that resized the pictures. Use imageshack.us or imgkk.com to host them so we can properly see the problem.

he did use imageshack
Images fixed. I think the dots aren't in the screen shots. If I move the mouse over the dots they disappear for a couple of seconds. It doesn't really make any sense......
I get the same problem, on an EVGA 8600 512mb
Time to get a new card.
I have confirmed its the card. I switched it out with a crappy card laying around the house. I have no pink or red lines across my screen.
Did you turn up the fan after you started seeing the lines and dots?
Probably some card damage (overheat?) Try returning it.
turn down the memory clock speeds on your card by a couple hundred mhz and see if the problem persists

Yes

I'm trying this right now
Edit: How do I do this without Riva Tuner? For some reason, its not reading the card.

I did but it comes up with "NVIDIA display settings are not available. You are not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU"
Its seems like its not recognizing my card.
My 5870 did that, I had to RMA it.
I decided to get a new card. Thanks for the help though.
