Somehow, I think the bad acting and the cheesy slow-motion was on purpose because of Conrad's character. I haven't really seen scenes like this in the rest of the game so far.

The Cerberus contact doesn't so much as blink through the entire bit, making it hard to notice that he's supposed to be going "Who the hell is this assclow-HOLY SHIT COMMANDER SHEPARD SHOOTSHOOTSHOOT", and...well, just watch Jenna [i]try[/i] to smile around 1:25.
Plus a clown who thinks he's just been gutshot would at least grimace a bit. Trust me on this one.
