I recently purchased new hardware, A Nvidia 590gtx, Intel i7 quad core, a ASrock motherbord, a terabyte hard drive, I currently have a old hard drive of about 280 gb which has windows 7 installed on it and other programs, When i try and install a fresh copy of windows 7 over the old hard drive the computer does not reading the disc, like at all, Furthermore the computer has been blue screening almost every time i get onto my home screen, i assume that's due to the new hardware.
And another problem, in a desperate attempt to get windows 7 working i tried to install a copy over the new hard drive, but the pc blue screened when the process was 99.9 % of the way done and now when i start the pc up it takes me to the i guess its called the edit screen where you can choose how to run windows, and i select run in regular mode, and then it takes me to windows 7 setup, where i get another error which says "Windows encountered an error when installing please insert the cd again and restart" which is what i do, and then im tossed into the same problem once again.
I have tried 3 different cd drives,
Please guys i really need to get it working, i appreciate any help !
thanks.
