Y'know typically GOG doesn't JUST keep the game in their servers, they do actually try to update the game as they can or get a proper emulation set up so the game works on modern systems. Some of the prices on these games are a bit high, but you also can't get a lot of them without massive digging, much less then be able to run them - unless you've got a system tucked away from that era. Crusader: No Remorse wouldn't run on my XP some-odd years ago when I tried to get it to work, but I'm pretty sure GOG's got it set up on an emulator so it works on Win7/Win8.

Every game has a forum, and some of them have stickies with mods and stuff.
This why GoG is universally liked by many people, it actively involves the community in their sales and deals which is amazing. Even if you can't change much, the sense of influencing such things makes it far more interesting for customers.
