Games launch with black screen, computer freezes, sound can still be heard

I've been having this issue with some games for a while. The list of games it's happened with are Sword and Sworcery Brothers EP, Legends of Grimrock and now PlanetSide 2.

My specs:
8GB RAM
Nvidia 460 GTX
Intel i5
Windows 7

I do use two monitors, but I have tried playing the games without two monitors. I've also rolled back from beta video drivers to the most current for the 460 GTX and it changed nothing. Legends of Grimrock does work now for some reason but Sword and Sworcery... and PlanetSide 2 do not still.

Have you checked that nothings overheating?

I haven't but, that's a weird idea to think that it overheats immediately as I launch the game

LAWDY LAWD, 58C. Gonna try to work on that.

58C isn't very hot for a graphics card. Mine is currently at 70-ish.. (Yes, I work with too many programs at a time)

I figured out that the issue is Comodo Firewall. Not sure why, but it definitely caused it.
