I was wondering, since I currently don't have an action replay memory card to pc cable, any of the correct games to load the exploited saves, or any other means to mod my xbox[but i am going to buy them soon]. Is it possible to hook up my xbox to my router, connect via ftp, or some form of LAN connection and exploit my xbox? It sounds near impossible because the Xbox is of course crippled, just like Sprint phones. :bang:
But it was an idea I had due to lack of materials at the moment in time. Even when I get the proper tools to mod my xbox, I would like to figure out a way to exploit the Xbox via LAN.

you may be able to make a backup of your hdd and put the modded files on it with xboxhdm.

It's cheaper and easier and more reliable than a softmod.. BY FAR.
Contrary to popular belief they aren;t hard to install, As long as you have SOME experience in soldering then the hardest part is soldering the D0 Wire, The rest is piss.
Pros:
Easy as shite to change the HDD (Key Extraction In the xecutor BIOS)
Reliable
Can hold multiple BIOSs
Can modify the startup animation
Also, No you can't.
(And before OH NO WAREZ, Mod chips come preloaded with either a slimed down open source cromwell BIOS (Legal) OR just a simple flash loader (LEGAL) - It's up to the buyer to find the bios)
And if your really lazy you can get the solderless adapter, i have 2.6 lite's installed in my boxes and one uses the adapter.

Yeah you have to get the action replay to usb, so you can soft mod. But you can just get a memory card, controller and a controller to usb adaptor from ebay might be cheaper than buying an action replay.
That's only if you want to/have to go that route a mod chip is the easiest.
I used to have a soft mod I bricked it but it was my fault.
