I just got a 13" Macbook Pro. I just got it for school, and I love it. Anyways do any of you guys use IRC? What's a good irc similar to mIRC for desktop that's easy to use (and read) and very customizable (colors and all that jazz). I'm kinda looking for first hand experience, and what MOST of you guys use. I'm not sure what to install. i've used ircle on my dads eMac, but i really didn't like it so much. What do you guys suggest for IRC software?

linkinus is my favorite
linkinus is my favorite
It's nice, but you can't customise it as much. Also, the semi-bouncer feature can be annoying seeing that you get dropout messages (if you use Growl) each time you put the Mac to sleep.
BitchX. It isn't very customizable and you need Rosetta to use it but it's certainly colorful.
Colloquy. By far.

irssi. colloquy is probably the best if you don't want to use the terminal.
