More like Intel is about to rebrand their high end i7s/Xeons to trick people into thinking they're still innovating
These are very interesting days for the consumer cpu market
This looks like Intel is turning Xeons into I9. Look at the cache. When was the last time a non Xeon had that much cache. And so these are gonna be above i7-E parts or become the new ones then AMD is gonna beat them on price and cores/threads. The i7 6950X is like $1650. So you can expect these new parts to be above $1700 because that's where Intel currently puts the top of the line I7-E part. I currently have [url=http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/3665133]4690k[/url] and I'm looking into getting a R5 1600 or R7 1700 for plex encoding/gaming.
