• Thumbpad things for tablets

I love my iPad, it's a great device. I have tonnes of awesome games on it and although many work great with a touch screen, I always find it weird using the screen as a virtual thumbpad. You'd think it'd be fine to play something like Geometry Wars with, but using just the screen can become heaps stressful. Hard to explain, but if you've played it on a tablet you know what I mean. So I've been thinking of getting something like this: They attach to the screen and help you with the controls as they provide physical feedback. I've found tonnes of things like this on Amazon, but heaps of them have lots of bad reviews. So I ask, have any of you used such thumbpad things, and have any you could recommend I get? Would be heaps appreciated! If it makes a difference I use an iPad Mini, so I guess a smaller thumbpad would be better

What a stupid argument look at this instead but yeah, the stick doesn't sit entirely properly, and thus the games that use the entire screen probaly won't work

Definitely not that one I feel like a used PS3 controller is a better route but that's just me

I personally use a Gametel bluetooth controller and I have to say that although bluetooth controllers are a tiny bit finicky, they are worth it in terms of emulators and what not Although you might want a stand for that iPad as well

The PS3 controller is known to be so good and it's the same price. And the amazon reviews aren't all that pretty http://www.amazon.com/SteelSeries-Wireless-Controller-Bluetooth-Tablets/dp/B009AOFNU4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377294614&sr=8-1&keywords=steelseries+free

I saw one controller a while ago that can be used with iPad but it only worked with Gameloft games. That SteelSeries touchpad looks decent, but would any of you know of a smaller touchpad? I use an iPad Mini and I don't think that SteelSeries one would be appropriate for how small my iPad is.

Personally, I don't have too much of an issue with mine because the keys in keyboard mode are remappable and often times so are the emulators so I don't run into too many compatibility problems, but some iOS-exclusive games may have problems.

Not sure. Anyways after much thought I decided to get these: http://www.amazon.com/Brick-Joystick-002-Dual-Smartphone/dp/B008I5AH0C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377329263&sr=8-1&keywords=joystick+ipad+brick Whether they were worth $28 + $22 shipping I have to wait two weeks to see.
