Well that's nice but Valve's VR tech isn't going to be publically available so that's a load of nothing. He is working on Rift support and whatnot as well though so that's another kettle of fish
This game with VR would be amazing. Quick question, what is the initial difference between the non-consumer Valve VR and the Rift?

Main hardware differences are that Valve used two full HD OLED displays (one for each eye, probably ripped from Samsung S4s), and they had a camera on the HMD which used markers that were plastered around the room to determine its position. There is not much info about the optics they used but I suspect it was similar to the Rift. Also Palmer Luckey is convinced that Oculus will meet, or exceed, the Valve demo with the first consumer release of the Rift. So get excited.
