Did she really expect to win over 41 million? smh. edit Sorry for being dumb. :(
The casino argued that the on-screen rules clearly indicated that "malfunction voids all pays and plays"
She had no case. She could have tried for a small settlement, like maybe $500, and the casino might have accepted to save court costs.

"component degradation over time may increase the susceptibility to this rare occurrence" uhhhh i don't see how that can happen on a full digital slot machine
"component degradation over time may increase the susceptibility to this rare occurrence" uhhhh i don't see how that can happen on a full digital slot machine
electronic components can degrade over time in fact I bet it's occurs a lot faster than usual with gambling machines as annoyed sore losers might be tempted to apply percussive maintenance to a machine.
Strange glitch. It's disappointing that she lost out on the winnings. What if it was supposed to award her the $10,000 but the glitch caused the number to display incorrectly? Now because of a very vague fine print all they have to do is say "Sorry, the machine is broken we are not liable." Too bad.

Then again, I suppose that's most businesses, but the entire principle behind how casinos make money always seemed excessively shady to me personally.
Integer/float limit perhaps? Either coincidental or integral that 4294967295 is the unsigned integer limit
I bet she also thinks that if a cashiers' finger slips and types 50$ instead of 5$ then she deserves the 45$ she never paid in change.

Ofc it malfunctioned .. it wasn't suppose to award people over $35 in the first place :v:
