What is a good $75 gaming headset, i already have some Sennheisers for music, i need these for playing games online, i am very concerned about mic quality. I also need a Mouse with a budget of $60 for playing games.
Also, another question, Is it worth buying a Mouse & Keyboard made for gaming if i already have a plane jane multimedia set?

Not unless it's a ball mouse and a PS/2 keyboard (buckling spring models excluded)
I have a laser mouse and
PS/2 keyboard.. Am I good for gaming?

Both of then are what youwould find bundeled with HP computers
you're most likely fine unless your mouse is noticeably jumpy or you just plain don't like the hardware.
Okay im sticking with em, anyone know which headset to get? I forgot to mention it would be great if it where to have a jack that fits into an ipod

Anyone?
Anyone? Im going out to buy today and im clueless
Get some headphones and a separate mic. Refer to this for examples:

I already do but clip on mics suck, i want a mic boom without modding
Clip on mics are great - I love my Siberia v1.
Also get a G500 - far better than the MX518 for very little extra cost.

it's not far better
and you're not using a laser mouse OP you're using an optical
Why does everyone go Logitech for mice? Get a proper gaming mouse. Go Razer :P

Logitech have the right shape (or at least the MX518/G5/G500 do)

you're such an awful poster, seriously
every single post I've seen from you has the quality of a borderline mentally retarded person, filled with XD and other stupid shit, and whatever you say is completely wrong
Logitech Gaming Mice have less buttons than Razer, but that's about it.
Why does everyone go Logitech for mice? Get a proper gaming mouse. Go Razer :P
:frogdowns:
We use Logitech because Razer makes cheap ricer plastic shit.

People only buy razer because " itz soooo liek pro for aesome proo gaemers!!! xD!!11" when in reality its a poorly designed cheap plastic bullshit mouse.
I suggest a Creative Fatal1ty MK II for a headset, I rather like the architecture of the item.
Creative has a good history for me, but its completely up to you.
Logitech has some nice headsets and so does steelseries but there often very expensive.

Logitech makes terrible headsets. Steelseries is on the same level. The MK II is a piece of shit. Get AD700s or A700s if you're spending $100.

Whats wrong with Steelseries and Logitech? I heard the G35 is a pretty good headset.
Well the point of thread is i already have some sennheisers and i want something with a boom mic and more cimfort, i think im going to buy something on the gamecom line.

Amazing mouse, Logitech G500, will not disappoint. You get your bang for the buck.

Then you heard wrong.

Because a high DPI laser is better than optical for gaming right.
Because a high DPI laser is better than optical for gaming right.
No, mostly because of the weights and godlike scroll wheel.
In other news i bought the Gamecom 367 today, its sexy. I dont think im buying a mouse, optical is good enough for me.
If I found this earlier, I would have recommended the Gamecom 367 too. It's a great headset for the money.
And for a mouse, forget any gaming mice.

This mofo right here. I turned down my bro's MX518 to game with this baby.

you're an idiot
That Microsoft mouse is a piece of trash and the Mx518 is by far the most comfortable gaming mouse ever.
Heres my setup
Plantronics Gamecom 377 (Broken to my retardedness. Its currently held together by masking tape.)
Logitech G9x (My 3rd G9 I had two G9's and a G9x thanks to Logitechs great Customer Service)
