I've been working a lot out of my house recently and doing a lot of audio and video work and am looking for a pretty good mobile laptop to run things like Premier and Pro Tools. I was looking at the base model of the Surface Book 2 and was wondering if that would be enough for what I am looking for or if there are other options to consider. Thanks
Ram is a bit lacking with regards to video editing, 16GB is preferable, but you could probably get away with 8. The main issue I see with that computer is storage, you're going to have to use a portable drive, 256GB will up pretty quickly, even just as a cache.

Yeah I already have two 3tb desktop harddrives and a 2tb portable harddrive and about a million SD cards. My plan is to work on one or two projects at a time and move the one's i'm not using over to a different drive, and keep my C drive clear of any project files.
Both premier and pro tools are absolute ram pigs. You’re seriously gonna want 16GB at least.
