I am unsure wheter or not this is due to the game having problems or my graphics card dying, does anyone mind explaining?

The darkened part is supposed to go transparent in a smooth manner, yet mine just seems to have big, bulky blocks slowly going transparent instead.
It is hard to explain it, considering my English isn't good enough.
um, that's normal? I mean that's just kind of how graphics work, and really you just make it look worse by putting a medium grey background on it to highlight the colour steps.
did you get a new monitor or something that makes you notice this? if it really bothers you, you should try messing with some of the colour correction settings on your monitor.
Seems like my gamma was too low, huh.
