• Upgrading my RAM to 2x4Go - not sure what to chose
    7 replies, posted
Hi guys, Here is my current setup: MB: MSI H-61 ma-E35 CPU: I5-2320 (3.0GhZ) RAM: 2*2Go Gskill Ripjaws, don't remember the specs GPU: GTX660 So I think it's more than time to upgrade the RAM, but I'm not sure what to chose. So far Gskill did the job fine, but I see a lot of different models with more or less the same specs at the same price (Ripjaws, Sniper, Ares...). Is there a reason to chose one instead of another ? And can my setup handle 2400mhZ RAM ? Thanks

ram size is better than speed tbh, get 16 gb.
I have almost the same spec and 8GB has been good to me. 16GB is better and probably more futureproof, but I've not encountered any bottlenecks or issues with 2x4GB.
