Facts; -I don't have admin -I'm pissed, :colbert: I need help finding the password to the administrator's (my) account. Idiotic parents thought that creating a separate account would do the trick, but hey, whatever. Please note if I wanted I could simply "net user steve password xxxxxxxx", but I have on requisite; The password can not change. I need to be able to find out the password. I know FP has much experience in this area. I'm sure plenty of you guys have been here.

OphCrack works and is great... I think even the IT guys at my school have a disc with it.
Yeah, use the Vista one .
Excellent, thanks. And just for clarification, this WILL NOT reset the password, merely tell me what it is?
yes
Alrighty, thanks a bunch.
the tool cracks the password and shows it to you, so you might not get it instantly, but it should not take long since I'm pretty sure parents are not using very complicated passwords
No, the last one was princess1 (the name of our cat + 1). I'm fairly certain it's simple. Thanks again. [editline]08:36AM[/editline] Alright, this isn't working right, or I'm doing something wrong. I've set the CD-ROM ATAPI as the first priority, burned the ISO using Astroburn, but it's not booting. Any ideas?
