Hey bros, just wondering what went wrong bros. Back in Source, there was a much clearer balance in power between guards and prisoners. Eventually guards did end up becoming more power hungry, but with the addition of map minigames and a better LR system I feel like it was justified. It was different and fun, and the prisoners still had secret rooms, vents, pistols/flashes/smokes in the toilets they could utilize to try and turn the game to their favor. But the game is a fucking joke now. Rounds end as soon as they begin and the prisoners are clearly the more powerful side. Seriously, the warden never gets out two commands without getting instant killed. I'm not sure if this is because of map design sucking ass now or because the people playing guards have gotten worse over time, but I almost never see a CT win anymore. Shits ridiculous. The Ts used to have to work for their wins, organise groups to break off to search for secret rooms, organise CT raids on 3:00, etc etc. But now all it seems is that you have to get the magic cell that teleports you into the armoury, get the AK and pot the warden in the head why all the other CTs scratch their asses going "buh? buh??? ruh roh lol oh shit im getting shot dakadakdakadaka shieeet im dead" Bros what went wrong bros? Were too many rules introduced? Did the gamemode become too regulated? Did the addition of six billion rules to the game over the years cause the CTs to become afraid of pulling the trigger on any suspicious acts, lest they hear the magic word of instant-banning? "Freekill," shouted the 10 year old, "FREEKILL!!!!"
idk bro maybe, bro, i think bro, the gamemode is fucking dead bro
it needs a game of it's own with new mechanics and gameplay changes, cuz the guards in jb never had a point at all that motivated players to join them (other than rdm enthusiasts), something more than win rounds by killing prisoners by playing "party" games, because people don't have the brightest minds on playing warden and I can understand why. I thought for a while about making a game based on this but got stuck on the guard problem
