I'm using facets ui, and what I want to do is have albums sorted first alphabetically by artist (or album artist), then by album name alphabetically, then songs by number etc etc
The problem is that doing it like this leads to duplicate/split albums in cases where multiple artists are tagged within the albums individual songs, which is a problem that should be avoidable with the "album artist" tag but sources I've looked at tell me that fb2k uses a different standard for this kind of tag so the existing tags are useless in this case(?)
Basically what I want to do/know is how to do/if there is a way to sort my music by [artist/album artist A-Z] -> [album A-Z] -> [etc] while avoiding the split albums issue hopefully without having to manually re-tag all of my music
Foobar uses the same standard as everyone else,
check to make sure your custom interface is ignoring the 'group by' album artist ruleset
