• Flickering screen.

My pc screen is constantly flickering in brightness and it is starting to annoy the fuck out of me. It seems that it is not the monitor but rather the pc, it has been happening since last night and from what I have seen it is not affected by moving cords. Could it be a power supply issue? My power supply has a little slider on it and at the moment it is at 110V. Here is my video card incase my power supply cant handle it. Do not touch the voltage switch on the PSU. If your PSU were overloaded, the machine would do other things, not make the monitor flicker. Test the monitor on another machine before ruling it out.

My monitor does not actually flicker when my pc is not attached, I think.
Try your monitor on another PC (or laptop).
Try your monitor on another PC (or laptop).
From what I can see it does not flicker with the pc not attached. It got drastically bad a few minutes ago to the point where it was solidly very dim for multiple minutes but that finished and it has been perfect for the like 10 minutes. [editline]8th April 2012[/editline] Jesus, it is like looking at a light that is about to go out. It is flashing like fuck but that is IT I have no graphical glitches in any game what so ever aside from the flashing brightness. The only recent change I made was that I installed Rainmeter.
More news, it actually continues to happen even when it is just at the boot screen but not in monitor settings.
The only things you can do is try swapping out your power supply for another one or swap out your graphics card. Posting your computer specs might also have been useful.
So my screen was glitching again and then it got really dim and *pop* pure blackness.
