Found this weird ring-watch thing on the street. Anyone know anything about it? - General

I was at Starbucks today (don't ask), I was walking out to my car and I saw a ring on the ground. I thought it was just a gold ring but when I picked it up, I found that the top flipped up to reveal a watch face. It says Sheffield(?) I was doing some reading, and they seem to be a big thing for women, but they ones I seen had hearts and shit on it... this one looks way more bad ass. I would keep it, or take it to like jeweler or something.

Alright, I was able to get a knife blade in there, the top just snaps off. It's kinda dirty, but i guess if it winds up then it's old. I still can't wind it. The movement says one jewel Sheffield watch co Swiss made Unadjusted And some other numbers What does 1 jewel mean? I don't see any stones on it It looks pretty clean. Could someone get this running again? It might be of use some day. Hell, that thing might be worth hundreds if your incredibly lucky or something. I would hold on to it.

They seem to be in the 30-50$ range in working order it seems from what I have read, and a jewel is a measurement of power that the watch has, but being at that price, no I don't think it is gold :(

Nah, neither do I, but like I said, I would say just take it down to a jewler and see what he has to say; I mean yeah you could say "well nah, its just junk", but you never know.
