• Need a new gaming mouse.

So I've been using the Razer Mamba for a couple of months and thought I was getting a good quality wireless mouse. I've now learnt I am sadly mistaken it is plagued with different issues on a weekly basis. I have beared with it hoping some new firmware would come out but I can't wait any longer. Flashing the mouse seems to temporarily fix it but common issues arise after about 15 minutes. Most notable is the mouse not returning to wireless mode after a corded charge. So if I am using the mouse wired up and it is fully charged and want to use it wirelessly it won't work even though it is getting the signal. It is a shame because when it does work it is a very comfortable and nice looking mouse. Lets not even talk about Razer Synapse. I would like to get another wireless mouse but I am open to any kind of comfortable gaming mouse. I have been looking at the Cyborg RAT 9. My friend has one but it seems a bit overkill for me with all the changeable parts. I can't see myself fiddling with it. But I do like the idea of being able to charge one battery and use another so the mouse can be constantly wireless. I have used a Cyborg mouse in the past corded one and it was good and did last. I am willing to put the money down if I am paying for quality. Something that would suit my PC nicely is a bonus too. Any suggestion are very much appreciated.
I have the g700 and I really like it. Logitech just released a new mouse that appears to be an updated version of it, called the g602. Logitech promises that it has a minimum of a 250hr lifespan on a full charge. That time can be extended much further if you lower the polling rate. Unfortunately, it's not a wired/wireless hybrid like the g700. You will have to change the battery manually.
If I were to get a new mouse, I would go with the g602. It's got a lot of great features and if you're actually worried about the battery life, just change them like once every other week at most. Otherwise I really like the Logitech G9X for a claw-grip. The RAT series of mice seems - from the reviews and friends' experiences - to be either really awesome, or complete crap. It seems like they might have a fairly high failure rate. But that might also be just a vocal minority.
I've had my G500 for a few years now and I've used the hell out of it and it still looks brand new short of the logitech logo and area wearing off a little. My cord has started to fray and I burnt it with a lighter to keep it from wearing much more from so much use. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great quality mouse without all the silly features "HARDCORE GAMING" mice have.
I bought myself an 24.99$ trust gaming laser mouse couple of months ago. It's pretty good for it's price.
In my opinion, as 8 year long professional gamer, I can suggest only two mice, sadly both wired so I dont know if you are intereseted. If you can afford it get a Steelseries Sensei. Get the RAW edition if you dont care about aestethics. If you are on a very low budget get an Intellimouse Explorer 3.0, until you have the money to buy a Sensei. Both are extremely comfortable, both using a palm or a claw grip, and dont make you sweat too much. The Intellimouse is actually one of the best tracking mice that you can buy.
