Is there any good PSU for under $90 or is $90?
I know I recently posted a thread about 70 and under, but after something recent today I can get a more powerful one, so help me?
Forgot to mention, if it could be modular that would be nice.
What does it need to power?
Never get a cheap power supply.
If you are gonna nerf anything, it's definately not the PSU.
101 of computer building.
Needs to power a simple setup currently, but I want some room for multiple hard drives and a better graphics card and etc..
Right now my setup is.
Radeon 4870 1GB
Phenom 2 x4 945 @ 3.3GHZ
320GB WD
1 DVD Drive
4GB DDR2 800mhz
If you're willing to do a MIR, this one is $100 ($80 after rebate) with free shipping:

There are good PSUs you can get for cheaper than 90. What wattage are you going for?

This is getting excellent reviews, is 10 dollars below your budget (If you use the 20 dollar rebate) and it should be good for your needs.

This one is more powerful too.
Or you could save up a little more money and get a different PSU. Remember to look at the ratings and reviews.

Also, I have the 600W version of this and it's doing me excellently. With a $30 rebate it goes way below your budget.
Alright, chose one won't say which but thanks the both of you and everyone else looking on thread. :D
And LarparNar for the info on PSUs, which the reason I am getting a new one is because I did exactly what you said not to do. D:

Looks cheap in picture but it is most certainly not. Not a modular & there are plenty of cables to power all of your stuff. I've had it for a while now with no problems.

It's already been suggested.
Oh I missed it. Didn't click the links. Anyhow it's really good. Been using mine for months without problem similar computer as Op's.
Yeah, I've heard it's really good.
I have the 600W version of this and have for about two months and I haven't had a single problem. I used it to replace the 500W PSU that came packaged with my prebuilt when it died.
ModXStream is great
