I have a Asus Crosshair Formula 4 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131644 .
My onboard sound SB X-Fi MB. I don't think I have updated it sense I bought it an install other than trying to fix the Audiodg.exe crashing an me having to close programs down to make it work again.
If anyone can help, would be hugely helpful.

Then just select audio on the 3rd step and look for "VIA HD Audio Codecs VT2010, VT2002P, VT2020S" in the 4th step. Then just download the top one, should be the one for your onboard chip.
Asus offers a download on their page as well, but it seems to be a older version. Anyways, if the above doesn't work, you could still try it: http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/CROSSHAIR_IV_FORMULA/HelpDesk_Download/
