Ya I agree with Marden If you buy a mac you have to get it from apple and you have to follow their specifications, however a PC can be built by anyone and can be custom tailored to their needs.

oh and windows 7 looks much sexier than OS 10.

It really all depends on your preference, of course. Personally I enjoy both, but I use my Macbook solely for school purposes, and PC for the other stuff.
If I had to choose between either one though, I'd go with PC just because there is so much more you can do with it
