I'm sorry for the low quality. (More proof that the iPhone is a piece of shit) My home datacenter currently consist of: 2x Dell Poweredge 2850 (4gb ram, 2x dual core xeon) 1x Dell Poweredge 1850 (4gb ram, 1x dual core xeon) 1x Dell PowerConnect 48 port switch (gigabit) I'll get better quality soon tough ;) Stability: Running SRCDS So, what do you guys think?
3 xeons and you're using it to host shit? Geez Also it looks close to walls so air flow problems might happen
What's the connection specs?
2 xeons and you're using it to host shit? And these are not my web hosting servers. I only use them for SRCDS.
If you're getting such a good connection with pretty nice specs why not rent it out
If you're getting such a good connection with pretty nice specs why not rent it out
Because in my country you're responsible if anything must happen. I cannot risk that. (Most of my customers use my services to host shell booters)

Looks decent enough to hold a few CS:S servers at the moment.

I'm kinda a Dell freak ;) And what do you mean my own building? ;) This is my own building. I live in it Edit; I'll try getting better pictures today. Currently waiting for Dell to ship the new ram that I've ordered ;D
I'm currently hosting my servers on there and it's awesome.
Can I have a free CS:S server?
Heh :P Sadly that the speed sometimes gets capped.. I'll go shout at my isp
store all your porn on it
It's pretty cool but datacenter is this: [img_thumb]http://www.harbimi.net/google-image/datacenter.gif[/img_thumb]
Hence the name home datacenter
I want to do something like this in the near future. How much all up did this cost you?
A lot, I suggest you make an estimate price at dell.com
Guessing around $4000 $900 or so for the switch, $1000+ per server im guessing [editline]6th January 2011[/editline] Actually, to count in Dell's extreme prices it could probably be $5000 per server, like $20000 spent then
You should try hosting a CS:S server. I'm hosting one with great results, running SRCDS console thing.
So why did you post this? Just to brag?
So why did you post this? Just to brag?
No, I just wanted to have a rating, that's all :\
