I had an accident with my Nexus 7 and a bed yesterday. Which unfortunantly resultet in a broken glass in the bottom bezel.
I still got my warranty which still counts - But I read that it doesn't include damage of any sort.
But I want to if it still could be possible for me to send it to ASUS? If anyone had any luck with this, I would love to know.
The alternative is that I replace the glass + Digitizer. But I want to avoid this - Don't want to do any further damage.
My friend broke the glass on his N7 and they refused to fix it as they don't cover accidental damage.
If the broke glass appears to originate from the edge of the device you could say that you picked it up and it cracked in your hand. They'd likely replace it as a design flaw.
