In UK, US, France, Denmark or any other country that speaks English and has a good education rating. I'm planning on majoring in Philosophy, English or Acting. Yeah I know, shit thread, fast and all, but I really don't know where else to ask.
It's funny because you made a fast thread and there's a board called "Fast Threads".

I know here in New York State we have a very good public college system with colleges that are good enough to be ivy league for the price of a public school, but it all depends on what you want to do.

For what you're looking into I'd say SUNY Geneseo would do you well if you can get in and want to go to New York. [editline]8th October 2011[/editline] It has a really low acceptance rate because it and SUNY Binghamptom are the close to ivy league ones and are really good.

the problem is that this is a really bad question to ask because those majors are extremely broad virtually all liberal arts colleges offer those, and i can guarantee you that if you go with the advice you hear on this board, you'll accidentally go overseas for a college that will cost twice as much and offer you exactly the same courses as one that's 2 miles away from you

So I got no choice.
The problem is that I can't speak the Lithuanian Language. So I got no choice.
it doesn't necessarily have to be a lithuanian college, you know i'm just saying that our knowledge of colleges is essentially limited to our local area(or, if you're a tryhard like me, around the US) for example, i would recommend you go to Harvard if you really feel like learning english, but chances are that you won't get in due to how incredibly anal they are about keeping their standards up or i could recommend you on my local community college, Mt. San Antonio, which leads to a transfer to another public school, probably University of California Los Angeles, but you've NEVER heard of these things in your LIFE therefore its better just to narrow down your major choice and figure out what KIND of college suits you better(public, private, liberal arts or no?) and see where you go from there
Hmmm, can you give me more details on Harvard?
If you've never heard of Harvard, then good luck getting in. It's essentially ranked at #1 school in the whole United States, and for you to even have a SLIM CHANCE of getting in, you'd need consistently over 90% scores on all your tests throughout school AND to have taken this thing called the SAT(Scholastic Aptitude Test) and the ACT(American College Test) and score well on both of them. If you do manage to get in and if you somehow survive ridiculous process of paying for your tuition(Best College= Expensive College) then you'll have an extremely stressful 4 years of your life.

Thanks anyway.
Come to my college, it's a very nice private college. It is liberal arts so your majors are covered; we have a good drama department (Three full sized theaters on campus) if you are really looking towards an acting career. http://www.catawba.edu/ It is a smaller, although high ranking, college so you get a lot of one on one time with your professors if you need help. here are the majors offered
Seems nice... Thanks.
No problem, if you have any specific questions I can try to answer them The cost to get in looks a little high but they are VERY generous with scholarships and grants.
Anyone else open for Recommendations? I'm still looking.
