This was somewhat stolen from another thread. That one died though, so I figured I could post my own.
I have a budget around 1100€ and I'm in need of a better computer primarily for gaming. It'd be nice to have parts from swedish sites as www.inet.se or www.komplett.se
As the current build shown above is only around 800€ I'd prefer to improve it as much as possible before actually buying anything.
To add to that I can tell you that I know absolutely nothing about these things and therefore you shouldn't expect my answers to be that good.
Thanks and all
This is what i got for the same money, although it might be available cheaper near you.
I must say, i am quite pleased with this so far.

How pleased is quite pleased?
Other ideas on how to improve it?

Isn't alternate fucking expensive? :v:
I've got another suggestion here, shamelessly copied from nohj because I'm really tired.
Suggestions or additions or whatever to this?

Update and bump
I'm [del]probably[/del] gonna order tomorrow, as I need it before the release of Dead Island in two weeks, and this is what I've come up with:
https://www.inet.se/kundvagn/visa/796749/build2
As you can see I'm missing a motherboard, and I'm not so sure about that graphics card.
I really do need your help.
please?
Now I'm getting desperate.
I just need a recommendation within five hours, with all you intelligent people around here that shouldn't be too hard, should it?
Get a GTX 570 (EVGA or Twin Frozr II) or a 6970 as you've already got and a GIGABYTE GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3.
That GPU is good, and get this motherboard.
Couldn't find it on that site, I don't speak swedish ^^
Dang, I can't find that motherboard at any swedish site, even less Inet, where I found the rest of the parts.
But the GD53 is sooooo ugly, the gigabyte one has this sexy black going on.

or

Not much difference between them, MSI is probably the best one though due to the new phase power stuff they use.
I'd go for the gigabyte because ~sexy~

Does that look good?
Anything that could get better for the money I have? This roughly lands on 980€.
[editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
I couldn't find the Gigabyte one you mentioned earlier.
That motherboard is better than the one I posted but more expensive.
That's Z68, so it's good if you plan on getting an SSD later - otherwise not worth the extra cost.
Are you not getting a CPU cooler other than stock?
Recommended if you have the budget.
Wow, I completely forgot about that, thanks for reminding me.
Any recommendations?
[editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
Looked around a bit, would it be worth getting a 580 instead of a 570, or isn't there much of a difference?
[editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
Now I've got a Noctua NH-U9B SE2 recommended from a friend.
http://www.inet.se/artikel/6308718/noctua-nh-u9b-se2
Is that one any good?
[editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
Nevermind guys, apparently there is a CPU cooler with the CPU itself, so that should be fine.
So, is the build good?
http://www.inet.se/artikel/5321472/noctua-nh-d14
or
http://www.inet.se/artikel/6308746/be-quiet-darkrock-pro-c1
or
http://www.inet.se/artikel/6901312/antec-kuhler-h2o-920
All perform very similarly, D14 is probably the best by a small margin.
And the 580 is around 10% better for almost double the price, not worth it for a normal builder, plus
when the time to get another rolls around it'll be expensive as flagship cards seldom drop price.

In that case, this is what I'm getting. Thanks, if you don't have anything else to add.
580 is like 10 % faster as far as I remember.
Or get a H60, with Scythe Gentle Typhoon fans.
[editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
I would get a Silverstone Strider 1000 watt instead.. I got mine for 1000 DKK.
Really stable and really queit.
Instead of the Antec 750w get this:
http://www.inet.se/artikel/6911321/corsair-tx-750w-m-80-bronze
or this:
http://www.inet.se/artikel/6900281/xfx-xxx-edition-750w
Better OEM's, both modular and cheaper, the High power 750w seems to be very overpriced on that website.
Other than go for it.
Went for the Corsair, now it's just to wait.
Thanks again.
Enjoy it.
