So some people impersonating the Canadian Public Safety Canada randomly called saying that we are hackers.
I thought they were real in the beginning but I'm unsure, any help?
Since this is Canada the government workers need to be able to speak french.
We hung up once, they call again, we talk French; they respond in English.
I then knew this was fake, that they wanted us to get on a virus website. What should we tell them?
I'm gonna probably start with a monotone woman's voice (because when I talk on the phone I sometimes sound like a woman) saying "This call is being monitored by the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre."
What should I say next?
If they don't hang up that is.
I'll be recording this if I can.

May I add that the two people that talked to us had really strong Pakistan type accents. Kind of weird.
Plus the phone number wasn't from 1-888 (which I think is what Canadian Government phone numbers start with).

Do what I do sometimes with phone scamers.
I say something all official like "Hello, you have reached the office of (YOUR NAME HERE). He is not in at the moment, please hold."
Then I get a 10 hour loop of mass effect elevator music and leave the phone by the speakers.
Once I had a guy who was still there after around 45 minutes.

Done, I'm doing that once they call back, which is probably going to be in 10 minutes...
And man, if that guy stood there for 45 minutes he either:
A. didn't understand what was going on
B. probably thought you were in a very large elevator
C. thought he was finally going to have someone to hack
