Has anyone ever had any experiences with the HTC repair service?

Tomorrow, I'm sending my HTC Desire back to HTC because of a fault that occurs every so often that makes the touch screen non-functioning, there is also dust under my screen which I told them about.
So what can I be expecting from these people?

I know that replacing an OLED for a friends desire would cost around 300€ whereas the actual part costs 70€ and you could do the replacement yourself. This is of course an unrelated issue to yours, but my experience with HTC repair is that it's overpriced.

Phone come back today, got a brand new one with no charge, lovely!

I've got my HTC desire repaired, it came in a special protective box with a pen, screen cleaning cloth and my desire, it looked quite fancy.
