I am really hoping they don't reuse Skyrim's Dwemer assets entirely. One of the cooler things about Morrowind's Dwemer is that they seemed bit more advanced than Skyrim's some how, instead of stones floors and natural gas lighting you had metal floors and electric lights. Hell even the centurions looked more advanced than Skyrims.

I thought the idea behind that was that the Skyrim dwemer adapted to their environment differently than the Vvardenfell dwemer. The Vvardenfell ones had access to Red Mountain, which basically afforded them infinite metal production, while the Skyrim branch took more to cave dwelling and generally being dwarves.
And then there's Cyrodill, where they were all slaughtered by the Ayleids and their remnants erased from existence by Septim's Numidium.

Fair enough idea behind that really, but comparing the centurions they got you can see how vastly they differ. One more steam powered the other being electrical and mechanical. Not as advanced as Sotha Sil though.

It's entirely possible that the Skyrim dwarves just preferred steam power. Maybe Skyrim has more coal and oil, and they didn't think it was necessary to bother building any sizable electric infrastructure. It is based on Scandinavia, and fossil fuels are their biggest export.
