One of the svchost files uses half of my cpu and 50mb of ram. When I end it, my windows theme dies and sound disappears. nod32 didn't pick any viruses. What do I do?
Vista I assume? Mine does that too, you can see which program is using svchost in the resources monitor and end that
No, not vista. XP.
And it uses my cpu while gaming too, which makes it awfully slow.
Use a different theme.
Theme has nothing to do with it. It started just now. It was fine yesterday. Oh and, now it says that it's using 0%, but mw2 still has these awful spikes. It was fine yesterday, today, it's spiking like hell.
Restart, I guess...
Did that, twice.
Then try a different theme... Just do it.
Does this on my Windows 7 when I first turn my PC on and open firefox.
I kill the process which seems to work.
Still annoying though.
Changed theme to classic, doesn't help.
I can't kill it. If I do, then my sound will be gone.
