I agree, By todays standards but in the PS2/XBox/GCN Period Consoles were fucking awesome. Now its just a bunch of faggots. Like the OIFY it used to be awesome, but now its over flowing with asshats. [editline]20th July 2011[/editline] Nowadays? PC/Mac even, FTW

1.I agree that pc's are fucking awesome, But in the days of the gamecube consoles were gaming. 2.You joined this month what the fuck do you know about the OIFY?
dunno ps2 I guess
PS2 I never had a gamecube I never had a original xbox. I never had a dreamcast
PS2, probably the best library of games of any console ever. Gamecube is great too though, just very short-lived. Xbox can go fuck itself, it's big, clumsy, noisy and breaks easily, and it only had a few exclusives worth playing, although those exclusives were very good.
Gamecube, only ever had nintendo in my house, untill a week ago when i ended up with a ps2? I have to say gamecube because some of my fave games or on it, like zelda wind waker and mario party 5, but other consoles did have some good games. xbox had halo, that is the only reason i have ever wanted an xbox, for halo. Not to sure about ps2, most of my friends only had them for the tony halks games, although i have to admit i thought they were very cool.
Old Tony Hawk games are pretty cool. They are on GCN though too.
I only had an Xbox, so it would have to be that. Also putting custom software on it made it useful for emulators.
Old Tony Hawk games are pretty cool. They are on GCN though too.
Yeah, but my mum is really strict, and still is, i was about 6 then, and rond a mates house was the only place i could play them (coz there 16+). im 13 now and my mum still wont let me play them :L
Gamecube.
the gamecube had a terrible controller and like 4 good games
gamecube
gamecube
its in your name
Have to go with Xbox, due to the fact my bro bought one that was chipped, allowing us to play Emu... I didn't like PS2 that much, and I never tried GameCube and Dreamcast
Those were the days:) Still to this day do I miss my PS2, I regret selling it.
That's hard to say. It would really be a tie between my Dreamcast and PS2. My GC and Xbox saw quite a lot of use, although not as much as the first two consoles I mentioned.
PS2 or Gamecube, I had an Xbox but only a couple games, I had my PS2 up until a few months ago and the Gamecube's still around. I remember logging 200+ hours on Final Fantasy XII pretty fondly.
Game Cube. I had the entire Legend Of Zelda anthology on a disc for it up to that time.
GameCube. Love(d) it
I loved the PS2. It was my first game console ever, and I still have fond memories of staying up till 2 AM trying to beat the final boss of Jak 2. Nowadays, I've converted to PC gaming, but I still occasionally play my old PS2, which is reaching the end of it's long life.
Played a lot of PS2, Star Wars Battlefront was the shit back then. For me at least...
PS2 hands down.
PS2 hands down.
PS2 and GCN. The PS2 is indisputably the greatest thing ever, but the GCN had a lot of underrated classics.
Xbox oh the times we had together *sob* that I will never have back.
Gamecube.
Hard to say really, but like everyone else, either gamecube or PS2. Xbox was good, but I didn't own one, so I can't actually say if it is better. However, I bet alot of this decision making has to do with the games people played on their consoles, regardless of if it was an exclusive game, or on all consoles. I mean, I used to play Time Splitters 2 on gamecube 24/7, literally, until I forgot I was borrowing it, and a friend wanted it back. Recently, one of my other friends bought TS2 on PS2, and while playing it, I just don't like it as much as I did on GC, even if it is the exact same game. Controls are alot to play in that, I think.
PS2 was amazing and brings back great memories
