Looking for a game with a good and deep storyline, or just a very interesting and addictive gameplay something that'll keep me occupied for a while!
Some examples:
Fable: The Lost Chapters
Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Penumbra series
Baldur's Gate series
Warcraft 3
Mass Effect
I love fantasy, horror, medieval stuff but it's not necessary. Preferbly something I can buy on steam?
wouldn't we have to know the games you have already?
Peggle.
Red Dead Redemption, if you have a Ps3 or 360

Those up there are the main ones I have/have played. I have loads of other games but still.
Also, I'm on a PC and a Wii... and a DS I guess. No PS3 or Xbox360.
Dead Rising 2?
Lots and lots of replay value
Oblivion?

Not necessarily looking for replay value, and I've already played Dead Rising 2 and it's nothing for me really.
The first Metal Gear Solid, since I believe thats available on the PC.
Oblivion?
Tried it but I didn't think it was close to as fun as everyone said it'd be.

I'm not that much into the japanese stealth kinda thingy.
Fallout New Vegas
I tried it but I don't feel like it has a good enough story line or scenematic gameplay for me.
You want something with story line and scenematic gameplay?
Black ops, my friend.
45% story, 45% scripted events and 10% gameplay.
Half life 2

Got it already, I'm playing through it, and I'm enjoying it.

Not saying it's a bad game, I just think the gameplay is really boring and I already know the story.
Dragon age: Origins, I'm up to 120 hours now.
Mass effect 2, I've finished it 20 times I think.
Borderlands if you like action and dont mind a little repetitive gameplay.
Dragon Age
Dark Messiah (A game that uses the source engine, really good first person melee combat)
Deus Ex
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, the first but not the second, and oblivion.
I'm thinking of getting Dragon Age, it looks fairly interesting. I'm not that big of a fan of the combat-system but I think I may enjoy it anyways.
Assassin's Creed II, excelent storyline, excelent controls. It was given nine stars. I'm playing it right now.
I just finished Amnesia - The dark descent and when I saw this thread name I was like "OH I will suggest it"
Then I read the OP :v:

Amnesia kept me up for hours, it was so god damn awesome I'm hoping for sequals. And I hope they will be longer.
Nethack?
Fallout New Vegas
Morrowind.

and the story was literally the dumbest thing ive ever seen
[sp]fight club hurf durf[/sp]
Diablo 2
assassin's creed brotherhood. Excellent Story, looks beautiful, best free running game series ever IMO, still amazingly well done regardless, hours and hours of extra stuff to do after and during the storyline, and the online adds even more play time and is actually very well done. Waiting in a lobby for a game as I type.
