Can someone point me to a free tfc and hl1 map making program?(for hl1 one that would work for multiplayer games not just singleplayer) And what would I need to do to make it so other people could auto-download it when they join the server.
I also used a program called DarkRadient when I used to played Tremulous, if there is anything like that it would be espically appreciated

Ugh, TFC. Anyway, all GoldSrc games use Worldcraft (what Hammer used to be called). Go find it somewhere.

You can either use Hammer 3.4/3.5 or you can use GTK Radiant with a plugin. GTK Radiant is good if you want a stable editor and can use a more complicated interface, Hammer is good if you cba to deal with the learning curve of Radiant.
Hammer 4.0 is able to edit HL1 maps if you configure it right, but you have to go way out of your way to do that.
