Searching for the best Nvidia approved 3D monitor but cannot find decent comparisons

After Christmas and from working two jobs at once I'll have loads of money just chilling in the bank (even after paying for next semester of college). What I'm going to do is make an upgrade from my old GTX 280 and go to a GTX 570, along with a 3D ready monitor, I already have a 3D IR emitter and please ignore the fact that I already own 65" Mitsubishi DLP, it's not good for KB/M gaming.
Here's what I don't know and I can't find on Google: The best 3D ready monitor for me, http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision-requirements.html is the link to the list of monitors. When I Google each I end up only with someone reviewing one monitor at a time and not comparing any of them combined. What I want to know is which one has the least amount of ghosting issues in 3D mode, It's hard to take people's opinions about it when there's people that say something has a lot of ghosting and there's people that say that very same monitor has very little ghosting. If I could find a reviewer that went through many at the same time and rated them in an unbiased fashion I would have my answer. Can you help me?
A friend of mine has the Asus one, it is very nice, I did not notice any ghosting when I used it.
You should PM LinusTechTips on Youtube, the company he works for probably has the majority of them in stock, and will be able to tell you what he thinks from personal results.
I sent him a PM last night, I'm still waiting for a reply.
I've done extensive research as I am doing the exact same upgrade as you this Christmas and from what I've read, the best 1080p true 120Hz monitor would be the Alienware AW2310, which is also one of the most expensive. The second best which is the one that suits my financial situation is the ASUS VG236HE.

Was the person claiming the Alienware monitor having the best quality also review the Asus one? Because quite frankly I'm leaning a bit towards the Asus one just for including another pair of glasses for the same price. I just wish there was a display at a store somewhere, I'd drive at least 200 miles just to give it my own look over.
The Benq XL2410T looks pretty awesome if it's available where you are. I've been thinking of getting it myself.
Doesn't nVidia allow any CRTs capable of 100hz or greater to be used for 3D as well?

120Hz, yes.
CRT's hurt my eyes, I'd never resort to them.

Uh what? Stop using 60Hz then. CRTs are the best monitors, period.
ACER GD245HQbid is also an option, I'm going to buy it unless I find one better.

The ASUS is cheaper and better.

What gives out more radiation, an eyefinity setup of CRT's or a smoke detector.

They all give out jack shit amounts of radiation, CRT's aren't going to damage your eyes, especially 85+hz.
120Hz, yes.
they actually enforce that, now? had an old 100Hz CRT that handled nVidia's 3D before the current 3D standard/3D Vision

Radiation? Are you kidding me?

Wasn't NVIDIA's old 3D just converting every frame to an anaglyph? You need 120Hz so each image can be 60Hz with stereoscopic 3D.
Why does it have to be 60 hz anyway, what if you want to sacrifice a few frames for 3D?

Because at lower hertz you'll strain your vision, and usually get a headache.
Atleast that's the case for me
As someone who works for a company who produces 3D content, I can tell you that any monitor that runs at 120hz is capable of 3D. Then all you need to do is get some shutter glasses and a device to synchronize the glasses with the screen.

At the office we use some nothing special 120hz projectors.

Seriously? I always though there were a second layer in 3D screens, so that the frames could easier sync or something.

They just tell you that to justify the increase in price.

I was about to spent $1650 on 3x asus "3D compatible" 27" screens :w00t:

The 120Hz 27" ASUS monitors aren't even out yet are they?

nope, hence the "about to"

I always thought that if a monitor has an input supporting 120hz then Nvidia already went ahead and put it on their list of monitors. Then what's this crap about 120hz+ displays that can only accept an input of 60hz?

since I couldn't find a good review, I went ahead and did this:
http://www.all-monitors.com/compares/asus_vg236h_vs_alienware_optx_aw2310
So I'm just going to get the ASUS VG236H because of the extra pair of glasses, could always use two for watching 3D movies on the 65".
Are there any 24" Viewable CRT's?

Go look in your local classifieds. They usually sell for $30 plus or minus $20
