I've been studying for finals the past few days, and sometime last night my right lower eyelid started twitching. It's been going on and off ever since (8+ hours of sleep last night did not help - it resumed in the morning). Does anybody who's had this problem know a good remedy? It's very distracting, and I just want to get back to work.
Yes, I did Google it. There's plenty of information but few solutions.
Thanks in advance!
Could possibly be eye strain. Just be careful not to strain them too much, maybe that's the problem.
But who knows I'm no doctor
I'm pretty sure it's eye strain/stress, both of which can be easily explained by me studying for finals. I was just wondering if anyone has had this same problem, and if they found a good remedy.
Cancer.
I used to have it for two weeks straight, but eventually it just passed. Longer sleeps would help in my opinion, but usually it'll go away with time
I get it sometimes too. I wouldn't worry about it, it usually goes away eventually.

:v:
But seriously, the only real way to stop eye twitching/strain is to rest with your eyes closed. If you aren't tired/don't want to sleep, you can just lay in bed and listen to music or a audiobook with the lights off.

Worked for me.

I had the same. Eyestrain, and I was going through some stress at the time too. The break from me was just staying off the computer a bit more and getting more sleep.
Thanks for the help, guys. I guess I just need to rest my eyes and wait it out, which unfortunately isn't really an option right now because I need to work.
In the meantime, I've made the text on my browser larger and zoomed in on certain pages to help reduce eye strain. I've also found that applying light pressure and massaging the twitching eyelid helps somewhat. But if anyone has solutions, advice, or remedies, please post em!

Wonder if I can get a doctor's note for it...
