Hello everyone! About 2 or 3 years ago I purchased myself a beautiful EVGA GTX 590 Classified. The dual chipset in it served me well but unfortunately to my dismay it died recently. I am assuming that it was a very unstable card from what I have read. After doing much research I decided to purchase a EVGA GTX 680 Classified. Mainly because it got outstanding reviews and does not cost over 1000$ like the 690. Can anyone tell me more about it in comparasion to my previous 590 and about the 680 on its own? Any input is appreciated. Thanks again!

670 would be a better idea, $100 cheaper and can be overclocked just far, if not further than a 680. Only difference is a few cuda cores and a couple little things.
Hhmm, the problem which all of these comparison websites have is they neglect the fact that im going to be having 4 gigs of ddr 5 ram on the gpu. Im hoping that the ram amount makes a significant difference? Also should I get my 590 fixed (which is likely since i still have 2 year warranty on it) it wouldn't be possible to SLI it with the 680 would it? If not know anyone who might be interested in buying it? Because if I cant SLI it im better off selling it and buying another 680 to sli those two together.
How much do 590's still go for?
How much do 590's still go for?
From what I can see about 750-800 lightly used or factory refurbished and like 999 at the most new. Its crazy, ever since they stopped making them they got more expensive.
