iTunes Library Missing Songs?

Today I became the owner of a 160GB iPod classic.

Now, after adding my music folder to the iTunes library, I've noticed something weird with the number of songs in the library.

iTunes says I have [b]1,576[/b] songs.

Winamp, my main player, says I have [b]1,682[/b] songs.

Selecting all the songs from my music folder via Windows Explorer, it says I have [b]1,701[/b] songs.

Some are probably in a different format, which probably cannot be read by certain clients. Some have the option to choose which formats to use

duplicates, images, other shit?

Upon further inspection, iTunes missed a shitload of albums (mostly starting with the letter "A").

I'll be using MusicBrainz Picard for my tags and album art and MediaMonkey for syncing from now on.
