• Need the name/location of a particular TF2 sound using GCFscape

Hey guys, I've poked around in the TF2 files but I can't find that "WHOOSH" sound that plays when a player is lit up from a flamethrower, if someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it.
Uh What sound?
Oh good a fire wizard, :v: That initial sound that plays after you get lit on fire, that really loud audible "FWOOSH"
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps
Then boot up the Team Fortress 2 content in GCFscape, then from there
root\tf\sound
Then it'll either be player or possibly vo, if not try the Team Fortress 2 materials GCF file, then sound\weapons If neither, sorry :3 EDIT: In player, you'd be looking at 'fire', in weapons it might be under the flamethrower files. I haven't listened through them, don't think it'd be in vo.

Still, thanks for at least coming in here and responding, any sorta help is appreciated.
Alright, since I use to be all over this shit, I'm ashamed to say I know exactly what sound you're looking for. sound/misc/flame_engulf.wav It's not in weapons, since the weapon doesn't make that sound - it's universal sound for all classes. Trust me, if you ever need to know where a sound is or how to fuck with them, I'm your man. My favorite trick is having multiple domination and victory sounds that cycle based on a randomwav script.
sound/misc/flame_engulf.wav
Urgh, I thought about looking in the misc folder, but decided not to.
