just took a look at this in game, it's pretty beastly but you only have one spare magazine.
I was expecting the Tec-9 to be made full auto, it's fire rate is high enough that it may as well be
It's more of a sidearm to the AWP than a fitting eco/pistol round weapon.
It's still beter to just land one headshot or a few bodyshots with the Desert Eagle.

It couldn't be made full auto because the real Tec-9 is not full auto.
I see no real advantage to this over the P-250 except "I don't tire my finger out by clicking". 12 rounds per mag and 12 spare rounds, it's overall terrible IMO, only really useful at point-blank.
Uhm I'm pretty sure the Glock the Terrorists have as a starting weapon can be switched to auto?

The gun would look a lot better without that silly magazine under the barrel. I know it's for balancing purposes but want kind of t or ct only carries one extra magazine?

Still, IIRC the TEC-9 in CS:GO is modeled after the open bolt pre-ban one which was widely converted to fully auto by criminals since it was generally easier to do, compared to other guns.
For added realism, they should make the gun jam every 5-10 rounds or so. :v: just like it's real life counterpart.

Are you talking about the source deagle or what, the CS:GO one is a lot harder to use.
The pistols are very different in CS:GO, not to mention the deagle costs $800

I thought it was a myth that Tec-9 can be converted to full auto? No common criminals would turn a TEC-9 into a full auto in real life due to poor accuracy plus the fact it use up the ammo so fast when firing in full auto.

No, I see a whole bunch of automatic pistols. It is a machine pistol. Automatic pistol just refers to its ability to automatically load rounds into the chamber and eject spent cartridges. It doesn't mean the same thing as rifles.
And of course it would be utterly worthless against armored opponents, unlike the FiveseveN in the middle there, but that is just game mechanics.
