Sony seems to have a knack for shuttering studios that have historically produced great products before they became mired in issues due to their own top down control. They shut down studio Liverpool no sooner than they shipped a pretty good game (wipeout 2048) that happened to be for a platform sony decided they didn't care about shortly after they released it. Wipeout on ps4 would have been great
